OPIOIDS DON’T
CARE WHO YOU ARE,

But We Do.

Tools in your hands. Training in minutes. Lives saved when it matters most.

Opioid overdose can happen fast, but Nevadans know how to look out for each other. Safer Nights provides free naloxone/Narcan, fentanyl test strips and simple training so venues, workplaces and everyday people are ready to act the moment it matters.

Who is

Safer Nights is a Nevada-based opioid harm reduction campaign making lifesaving tools easy to access and simple to use. We work with venues, community spaces and job sites to make sure people have what they need to step in when an overdose happens—because when more people are prepared, more people get home safely.

We are a team of musicians, hospitality workers and public health advocates who care deeply about keeping our community safe, vibrant and alive.

The 101

What You Need to Know About Opioid Overdose

Overdose is not about bad choices. It means fentanyl showed up where no one expected it.

Like cutting off a friend who’s had too much to drink or walking someone safely to their car, knowing how to spot and respond to an overdose is just one more way we keep Nevadans safe.

Opioids Show Up When You Don’t Expect It

Fentanyl is showing up in pills, powders, vapes and counterfeit medications disguised as painkillers or anti-anxiety meds. The risk is real, but with naloxone and test strips, we can stop tragedy before it happens.

Seconds Count When Things Change Fast

What starts as a regular day or an outing with friends can turn dangerous fast. Opioid overdose can happen in minutes. Naloxone works quickly, but only helps if someone nearby is ready to use it.

Fentanyl Doesn’t Discriminate

In Nevada, overdoses are happening to teens, parents, workers and older adults — across every age group and neighborhood. The face of overdose might not look like what you’d expect, so being ready matters more than ever.

Everyone Can Make a Difference

Overdose is reversible. You don’t need a medical degree; you just need to be ready to see the signs and offer care that is simple, fast and safe. You’re closer than you think to being able to save someone’s life.
